About Us
SeaHope Partners has been created to offer a creative means of mending communities and lives of residents along the Gulf Coast. The area is in turmoil in every way…the environment’s a mess, jobs have been lost, lives are uprooted. Keeping with the mission of The Sewing Machine Project, our umbrella organization, we aim to mend these communities by offering a sewing solution. This blog mirrors the development of the idea and the process. Please read on!

Hi Margaret… seems only yesterday that we met and helped a little with your project.. It was on local channel 10 tv. the same day that you left. The paper is a weekly so nothing there yet. Hope you get all that you expect from the project. Sandra, Houma.

Sandra, it does seem like yesterday that we were working away down there! I thank you for your help, for your smiling face, for your support. I appreciate it all more than you know!

They’ll be all across the board…we have some really interesting artists working on them! Artists’ bags should begin to appear around the middle to the end of November.
